Mr Szechuan

Disgusting! Found a piece of PLASTIC in my food! First and last time to this restaurant. Taste is ok but quality doesn’t seem so fresh and clearly food safety is an issue, this place needs a health inspection as I could’ve gotten very sick of I ate the plastic. The food is also drenched swimming in oil.Also, this place charges 50 cents plus tax , not 10 cents, for a very thin “thank you” plastic bag (not the thick reusable ones) which I’m also pretty sure is against the city ordinance. For the price you pay (5 item dry hot pot for $26 inc. tax), this is definitely not the place to go. Could’ve gotten better Chinese food from Panda Express and added some sriracha sauce for a third of the price.

My wife and I ended up in this area by accident (took the wrong bus). However, we were (almost) glad we did because the food and service here is some of the best we got in SF, and at a reasonable price!They gave us free peanuts and green tea to start. We got fish filets in a peppercorn broth and it was delicious! It was actually quite a different flavor profile than other places we’ve had that dish, but it was a nice change. Highly recommend it if you’re in the area!

They bring the new fresh ideas into Szechuan cuisine, combine with authentic​ food and popular dessert bingsoo & milk tea series​, all I want can be found in here at the same time. Also,​ ​ seafood shovel is brilliant!

Tons of options. Great for vegetarians, too. We got the dry pot with garlic sauce. It's a huge portion. You pick your sauce (spicy/garlic), one protein and 5 other extras like veggies and noodles. It was a bit bland (garlic sauce only), but I liked that it wasn't over seasoned. Next time I'll try the spicy sauce.Also got salt and pepper fish fillet - pretty standard, fried fish fillet. Wasn't greasy, nicely cooked but again was a bit bland in flavor.Huge portions, clean place and pretty good service. They also have a huge selection of boba drinks though we didn't try.

Was our first time coming to this place, it’s a nice little place in the corner. Food came with large portion, very tasted, I recommend the dry spicy pot. The service was great, the owner(I guessed) was really friendly! I will definitely go back sometime again!
